Who We Are
Who We Are
The Houston Global Health Collaborative is a collection of individuals from various institutions and organizations throughout the Texas Medical Center and greater Houston area dedicated to realizing the vision of seeing the area as global leader in global health research, service and education.
Through our various programs, and website utilities, you will be able to engage with similar minded global health advocates, researchers and practitioners. Whether you are an academician, independent professional, student, or at large community member, if you are interested in global health, you will likely find ways to connect and collaborate with similar others through our listserve, public events, and website.
Though we plan specific events within our organization to help foster collaboration across institutional and organizational boundaries, who we are is constantly growing as more people within the Texas Medical Center and greater Houston area unite to further the health of all people around the world.

Our Vision
What We Do
We promote. By promoting dialogue, education and networking, and providing access to best practice, professional development and skills building, we help build capacity and close gaps in knowledge and expertise at every level of global health.
We mobilize. By advocating for an evidence-based approach to address global health challenges and for a concerted research effort to build that evidence base, we contribute to continuous improvement of the global health response.
